CROSS THE NINE CHAKRAS
“There is only one pure desire and that is to be One with the Divine, One with the Brahma, One with God” Shri Mataji
“Within us, as you know, there are seven chakras for your Ascent, and two above it. So all these nine chakras are to be crossed in this life time. That should be your destiny.”
If we are to “cross the nine chakras” we must make our Spiritual Ascent. The stages in our spiritual ascent include, over time, the higher level chakras – Agnya, Sahasrara, ArdaBindu, Bindu, and Valaya. Their corresponding deities and qualities, also seem to parallel the higher states of Samadhi, in our Ascent. Your pure desire to know our highest self or Spirit, our God-Self, and so touch the Absolute Source, Mysterious, Transcendent, ParaBrahma, is the requirement to attain God’s Realisation.
Observations : ParaBrahma is Transcendent at level 10, and is the mysterious Source of SadaShiva and AdiShakti. We touch the 10th chakra Valaya level of ParaBrahma with our extended reach up, facilitating our Kundalini right up, and raising our Attention up to this height. Number 10 is number 1, + 0, or zero. ParaBrahma is the ultimate Source. 10 is also the true Guru’s number. Number 10. ParaBrahma 10 is the top of the Ascent, where saints become guru. 10 is also the number of the last and final incarnation of Shri Vishnu, who manifests as Shri Kalki, the rider of the White Horse, who manifests at the end of the age.
It appears to this Sahaja Yogi that our higher Chakras parallel the higher Samadhis, over time. IE Nirvichara Samadhi. Sarvikalpa Samadhi. Nirvikalpa Samadhi. Sahaja Samadhi, are four states in our Ascent and these states I see can readily parallel the four higher levels and chakras as we mature and establish. This is ‘postulated’, put forward as a suggested correlation…. It is up to you as a true Seeker to realise if this is true for you.
Spiritual Ascent is a progressive establishment and is totally individualised for each of us, so stages are infinitely varied. We are each a Reflection of the One Source Light and Love of God. An Individual Manifestation of the Absolute who is making the return to Source. We are the Light of God’s Love, reflecting God-Self, our infinite Spirit back to God-Self, in a timeless Play of Recreation. And paradoxically at the Core we are absolutely One with God, this Attention is God, but we have to realise that.
At each stage of our Ascent there is expanding growth and capability, by integrating and transcending. Shri Mataji explained that it was easy to enter Nirvichar, and easy to lose it. However it was harder to achieve Nirvikalpa and harder to lose it. She advised us that it was very important to “be in Nirvikalpa”.
So in practice … How can we ascend? We can Clear, the left. Clear the right. Clear the center. Raise the Kundalini higher overhead. We can Meditate, Higher. Sense the vacuum or Vortex above, Raise the Kundalini and Awareness, Touch the Transcendent and Be Still. We can draw close to the Source and touch that state that is the “I Am that I Am”.
If we are communing with the Divine, we are Blessed. Our health should improve, our welfare also, our wisdom, our patience and our service. We grow in the Silence. We grow in ‘waking up’, in Presence. And we grow in serenity in ‘growing up’. We grow in “Sewa” or Service to God, Guru and Humanity, and this means for Sahaja Yogis to facilitate world-wide Self-Realisation .
In the ‘Know Your Self’ Program alphabetically we develop as we learn to Awaken, Balance, Clear, Deepen, Evolve, Flower, and become Guru. We know we’re progressing. When we go beyond… We go beyond belief. Beyond bias, beyond distractions, beyond the relative, beyond the duality, and beyond the doubt, and Realise that GOD IS – I Am.
So again really, Why are we here?… Our ultimate purpose is knowledge of God-Self or Spirit. Spirit is the Reflection of God. We are to reflect God-Self to God-Self. God desires “other” to see, to know, to enjoy, GOD-SELF or Spirit. So – God Re-Creates in His/Her own image. GOD is coming to know God’s Self in us. In Infinite Recreation or Play. That is our purpose also. We must Become the Spirit, or God-Self, Reflection, to please God, and this means we are destined to cross the nine chakras.
Like many children in the world after a long outing, on our way Home, we might ask…. “ARE WE THERE YET?” I asked Her personally once, “Is it possible to make our Ascent in one lifetime?” And She said “Yes of course. See how far you have come.” I felt I had a long way to go. Subsequently She said to me in person that “Shri Ganesha will take you to the heart. And Shri Hanuman will take you the rest of the way.”
Our opportunity is to know and touch and become one with the Transcendent.
“So after balancing, ascension is needed in the attention. Without that ascent, our attention is at that level where we are not yet superhuman beings, where we have to become non-being. Now the concept of non-being is absolutely Eastern concept, that you become the non-being. So now we are the being and then we become the non-being.” Shri Mataji
